Daisy integrates with your Slack workspace, allowing you to flag articles in need of an update directly from Slack. Getting set up is simple!

The Slack integration can be configured on the integrations page, https://app.alldaisy.com/integrations.

Connecting the integration

To connect your integration, just click the connect button and authorize the app in your desired Slack workspace. Daisy requests permission to create a new command in your workspace, which is used to submit new issues. It also requests permission to view data about users, so we can record who submitted which issue.

Submitting an issue through the Slack integration

Once Daisy is integrated with Slack, you'll be able to submit new issues right from Slack. By typing /daisy in the composer and selecting the Daisy workflow, anyone in your workspace can flag an article by filling out a couple of fields:

  • Which article needs to be updated
  • Any notes about the issue to give others and yourself context when it's time to address it
